Safe, quiet and convenient

What I love about the home

House for sale in Nappanee in historic northeast quarter. Two or three bedrooms, two are up and one is down. We use the one down as an office. One bath. Newly renovated kitchen with solid oak cabinets, built in Bosch stainless steel gas cooktop, built-in dishwasher. Kitchen is divided by a bar to an open family room. Separate living room and formal dining room. Carpet, hardwood, and tile flooring. French doors. Ceiling fans. New self-storing screen storm door on back and some new windows. Some new drywall. Balcony upstairs off the bigger bedroom. Michigan style basement. One car garage with loft. New landscaping and new deck. New fire pit with tile sitting area. House needs new roof and price reflects that need. Easement access. Dusk to dawn light on garage for convenience. Updated electrical work and new window air conditioner that completely cools the downstairs. Approximately 1400 sq. ft. of living. Four new smoke detectors and one carbon dioxide detector. Like new Kinetico Water Softener. Super quiet and safe neighborhood. Sidewalks were replaced in the fall of 2013 and a new limestone drive was put in in fall of 2013 with a drain tile to rid rainwater and melting snow. Nappanee Elementary and Northwood Middle and High Schools. Walking distance to park, library, Boys and Girls Club, and pool. By owner; serious inquiries only. To have your offer accepted, you need a cashier's check for $1,500 that applies to the purchase and a pre-qualified letter from your bank. The $1500 would put new carpet in the rooms that currently do not have carpet, and you could choose the color. The deposit is non-refundable if you back out of a signed acceptance.
