This was the model home back in 1950 and it has been lovingly maintained ever since by the same family that bought it new. This is the first time this home has ever been on the market. It is a rare midcentury find. The original hardwood floors are beautiful, with the exception of a few spots. Even the original linoleum in the kitchen still looks great, and it is so retro. The original tile in the kitchen and bathroom is beautiful. There are three spacious bedrooms and a nice big living room. The living room still has the original brushed wood paneling that has never been painted! It's gorgeous. The yard is nice and big and there is a huge covered patio. 40th. Avenue is a really nice quiet street. There's just no traffic except for the people that live there. Central Heat and Air Conditioning was added just a few years ago, so that is not vintage, but it is energy efficient. If you are looking for a beautiful, well maintained mid century home, you've found it. 

What I love about the home

It's never been messed with. Except for the new central heat and air conditioning and some new dual pane windows, it's all original and very well maintained.
