My Notes

This house was always $275000- $175000 was a typo!! It is a Really cute bungalow-very open floor plan-sunny + bright w/south + west windows! Living + dining rooms are open w/built-in bookshelves. Remodeled kitchen is beautiful w/french doors that open to private fenced yard w/flowering plants+ covered deck/outdoor room! Kitchen has nook/office/sitting area too. Both bedrooms have hardwood floors-Remodeled artsy bathroom. Walk to Mt Tabor Learn more about Mt Tabor and all the other little nooks and crannies that make up the neighborhoods of Portland in my Portland Neighborhood Guide. We wrote this guide to help people understand how Portland is laid out-and understand the lifestyle and personality of each neighborhood and suburb! It is a huge, free, all inclusive, online Guide with detailed descriptions of each neighborhood- photos and collages, History- Links to parks, schools, trails, bike paths, Real Time Google map- plus a good insight into the personality and flavor of each Portland neighborhood! Also, all the surrounding suburbs and even towns between Portland and the coast! Find out what part of Portland fits your lifestyle and personality! Check out my neighborhood guide at www.PortlandCreativeRealtors.com or click on link on the sidebar or at bottom of page! We would love to help you learn about the different neighborhoods! Just give me a call or text or email us and we can schedule a tour! If you live out of town, we can correspond by email until you visit! We are a little different than most Realtors, partly because we are a family of 4 Realtors, and also because we just plain do things differently!! In fact, we do listings for 1.5% and also do flexible Flat Fee listings- tell me what you would like to try, and I will help you figure out a plan! We do tons of advertising, take awesome photos with Cannon Rebel 12 Megapixel, write creative ads using colorful word pictures, and do more advertising than most 6% Realtors! Plus, I've built and remodeled houses, wrote and taught classes on electrical, plumbing, and every other home repair when I worked at Home Depot for 5 years! Because of that, I can help you alot when it comes time to negotiate repairs! Ask me for some examples. Some are pretty amazing! We keep our overhead low and just plain work hard for our clients! Visit our website to learn more. If you are searching for a house in just certain neighborhoods, I have an awesome feature on my website you can sign up for- it's free and there is no catch! It will send you new listings by neighborhood and price, as soon as they come out! It even will send you listings as soon as there is a price drop! That can help you get a good deal, because in the inner cities, the good deals go quickly! Just go to PortlandCreativeRealtors.com and click on Search by Neighborhood! One more thing.......we've sold lots and lots of short sales and bank owned homes- both for my sellers and for buyers- it takes alot of work and experience to get them to close, but I'm a bulldog when it comes to making sure things get done! If you have questions about how short sales or foreclosures work, or would like me to help you find one, just email or call us. We would love to help you!

What I love about the home

Love the peace and quiet (and awesome schools) of Mt Tabor AND being a hop, skip and a jump from lively Montavilla with it's Farmers Market, Cafes and shops! Enter the garden through the French doors in the kitchen or through the gate at the end of the driveway, the one covered in an arch of evergreen clematis and passionflower. Keep walking under the Concord grape vine arch. (Yes, you can make your own wine.) Then resident hummingbirds will show you around the back garden: lilac tree, Japanese maple, dogwood and pink and white fuschia. If it's getting dark, just turn on the lights in the tea house/covered deck, plug in your favorite tunes. Large, sunny living, dining and kitchen rooms all with Southern exposure. West-facing picture window for Portland sunsets. Walking in the front door and seeing straight through the house out the kitchen French doors into the private back yard. Quiet street. Seven-minute walk to Freddie's. Ten-minute walk to Mt. Tabor Park. Fifteen-minute walk to the Stark Street scene including cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, shops, vet, and weekly Farmer's Market.

Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years. In Mount Tabor, the number of foreclosures waiting to be sold is 41.5% less than in Portland, and 61.1% less than the national average.
