Bedroom and theater are carpeted, bathroom is whitewashed redwood, the rest is cherry maple hardwood. The main floor bath was completely remodeled in 2007 and includes custom tile-work, new sink, lighting and paint. In 2007, all the baseboard were replaced with 5" solid poplar, all the door trim was replaced with matching 3" poplar casing. All trip painted white. All the doors on the main and 2nd floor are wood and were refinished with a dark stain. Looks fantastic against the white trim! Each room is painted with beautiful, neutral tones. First and 2nd floor carpeting was replaced in 2005 and has been cleaned at least once a year since. In 2003, the entire house was outfitted with gigabit Ethernet and a gigabit Ethernet switch was installed in the basement. There are lots of other features and upgrades - 10" floor to ceiling drapes in the family room, custom drapes in the master bedroom, new water heater, air conditioner, digital programmable thermostat hidden out of sight, large vegetable garden, ceiling fans in upstairs bedrooms and family room, attic fan for cooling off the house in the mornings and evening (save money by not using the AC!), a parking area inside the fence for a trailer or pop-up RV, 3 car garage with workshop?the list goes on.
