Lovely 2 bed and 1 bath hillside property with upstairs main unit 20+ feet above street level, completely renovated in 2012 with new kitchen, bathroom, LED recessed lighting, dual pane windows and refinished original hardwood throughout. BONUS 340 sq. ft. 'mother-in-law' apartment consists of basement bedroom, bathroom and laundry room with functional kitchenette area. Large hillside front yard with foliage and 18 LED low-voltage lights shining on the large trees and features on the front and side of the house. 40' Brick retaining wall along sidewalk leads to 25 steps up the original zig-zag extravagant brick stairway to grade level, 9 feet below living quarters. Large backyard, 45'wx35'-52'l. 8'x17' detached storage in backyard with additional separate entrance downstairs to 139 sq.ft. of finished storage with recessed lighting, new laminate wood floors and finished drywall in 8x8 and 5x15 with 6' ceilings, completely separate from the downstairs bonus living quarters.
All new appliances, lighting, surface renovation and copper/abs plumbing new in 2012. 220 volt electric panel new in 2003 according to permit records.
 

What I love about the home

Sits high above the street and neighbors as well giving a pleasant secluded feel with great views of Pasadena hills, large private backyard and several hundred sq. ft. of storage space in downstairs finished crawl space area and detached area storage unit. Original building permits from 1941 include 280 sq.ft. 'basement bedroom', 40 sq. ft. 'laundry room' and outside '12'x20' storage unit on concrete slab' are accurate from 1941. Permits need due process for inclusion into home's value. Downstairs bathroom check for permits.
