My Notes

This is a beautiful doublewide set up on a hill with a total of 8 acres of wooded land. The drive up to the home is graced by mature, purple flowering crepe myrtles. The home is private and not easily seen from the road since there are woods on one side of the property line, and large cypress trees on the other side of the property line. There is lots of wildlife around the area. The home has begun the process of being updated. It has new decks installed, honey oak laminate flooring laid down in the mud room, kitchen and living room. Fresh paint throughout, new mud room entry door and new sliding glass door off the living room, a large organic garden already planted, and planter boxes ready for pretty flowers at the side and back of the home. The home has a HUGE master bedroom with BIG his and hers bathroom. Her bathroom has a vanity, toilet and soaker tub with large mirrors surrounding the tub. The walk in double closet separates his bath from hers. His bath has the linen closet with shelves, a vanity, toilet and stand up shower with seating area. The living room has a sliding glass door that leads to the back yard. It also has a front door so you can step out onto a large front deck. The beautiful cherry wood mantle and fireplace with working gas logs make the living room a lovely place to sit back and relax. The spare rooms share a full bath that has a large shower/tub combo. Both spare rooms have ceiling fans, large closets and windows so it stays bright and cheery in there also. The spare rooms are off the kitchen. This home's kitchen is perfect! Large 6ft long island with cabinet space below makes prep work super easy. Pretty counter tops with tons of upper and lower cabinet space to make storing appliances and cooking equipment a breeze. A large window at the dining area makes it always sunny! The kitchen also has a pantry with shelving that can store plenty of food and supplies. The mudroom has a utility sink with hot and cold water, W/D hook-ups, and a shelf between 2 cabinets above the W/D. It has space for a small bench also if you wanted a place to sit down to put on your shoes or a place to set down the kids' back packs. All appliances are electric. The utilities are through Duke Energy Progress. There are lines already installed for the gas logs. The home will come with W/D hook-ups, and the stove/oven if you want the stove. This home also has a small storage shed in the backyard that will easily hold all of your tools and store the lawn mower, weed eater and yard equipment. The garden is approximately 30ft wide-60ft long and has not had chemicals put on it.The master and spare bedrooms will need new carpet or laminate laid down. We have torn up the carpet, but have left it at the subfloor level so new owners can decide what to place in those rooms. The laminate was bought at Home Depot and we can give the information to new buyers if they want to continue the laminate. The house was wired with ADT security, and that could be started back if new owners wanted a security system on the home.The home will be ready for showings August 2014.
