Charming home in Ortega with separate guest apartment. Beautiful ''Keywest'' style courtyard with pool. New cool desk coating. Tile floors in living area create a casual feel. New Bamboo flooring in hallway & 3 bedrooms. Wood burning fireplace, new roof in 2008 and new a/c compressor in 2010. Updated kitchen with gas cooktop, granite countertops and custom cabinetry. Detached guest apartment and one-car garage. Guest apartment has separate B/R and bath, living area and kitchenette, light and bright throughout.
What I love about the home
The tricky thing about finding comps for this home is that there really aren't any. Let me explain. I've got a great 1600+ sqf home. But it also has 1) an incomparable location, literally minutes from both Downtown and NAS Jax, 2) a fantastic pool with premium landscaping and 3) a proven, income-producing detached apartment. I have brought in $800/month since I bought the home, with occasional discounts for military tenants. You cannot find a fully updated, fully renovated home in THE premier neighborhood of interior Jacksonville WITH income production that is so turn-key. I did all the hard work; all you have to do is post the listing, pick your tenant, and sip the drink of your choice in our beautiful pool. But as an active duty military member who will be deployed for the majority of the next few years, I need to simplify. Please. Make me move. You'll be glad you did.
