Lakefront contemporary home with a beautiful setting on 1.5 acre lot on cul-de-sac. Lush landscaping, a long meandering circular drive to the front door gives a wonderful sense of arrival. Lots of natural light streaming in. Very open feel as you enter the foyer---soaring cathedral ceilings, step down to cozy sitting area with fireplace (has electric insert----if removed there is a big wood burning fireplace behind). Custom curved staircase sets off this entry and leads to the 2nd floor. To left of foyer is formal dining (which could be 4th bedroom...has closet). Full bath on this floor. Then a den/office with built-in area for TV (this room was planned as a bedroom and closet could be inserted where the built-ins are.) The very efficient kitchen has a wonderful island which easily seats 4. Newer stainless refrigerator has a TV and water and ice in the door---fancy, fancy. Electric glass top range, dishwasher and microwave plus an upscale wine refrigerator that conveys. A wall of pantry space offers plenty of storage. Adjoining the kitchen is a very large breakfast area that some would use as the main dining area...plenty of room here and great view outside. Nice laundry with upscale washer and dryer that convey....also a wet sink and plenty of cabinets. Upstairs is a separate master bedroom suite---huge bedroom has pretty fireplace, a wall of built in storage, a big walk in closet that leads to a huge walk-in storage area. The master bath has a luxurious heart shaped Jacuzzi whirlpool tub and then there is a separate tub and shower in an adjoining part of this sparkling bath area. Across a catwalk is a nifty Jack and Jill bedroom area that shares a bath with double vanities and a play loft above. Each bedroom has a cute built-in area that accommodates a single sized mattress or can be a study area. Lots of fun here with the play loft and ladder. Off of the living area is a great big screened porch (19x22) that really adds to the living area of this home. It overlooks the private back yard down to the lake. There is a gazebo, boat house and several vignettes you will find as you wander the property. The lakefront extends far to the right as you face the lake....very long shoreline. House had a major remodel in 1999.
