Amazing, x-large (3,300 sq ft), 4bed/3bath, upscale beach home that has been newly furnished and renovated with all of the modern comforts of home for relaxed beach lifestyle living. This house has room to spread out for large families (sleeps 8-14) and just steps to the Mandalay shores beach, an upscale community with wide white pristine white sand with volleyball courts and playground surrounded by multi-million dollar homes.
Light and airy with skylights throughout, cathedral wood beamed ceilings, state-of -the-art amenities include a gourmet kitchen with a Sub-zero refrigerator, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, gas cooktop island, and fully equipped kitchen that includes a new Keurig coffee maker. Upscale, but also comfortably furnished interior includes open floor plan with huge great room, hardwood floors, fireplace, 55 inch large 3D flat screen TV, pool table, dining, and even a sun room with balcony. There is also a separate Office/den on the main floor, with WIFI, built-in bookcases, game/DVD library, and large desk when you need to have a separate private work space. The Master suite offers a large comfortable king size bed, flat screen TV, huge walk-in cedar lined, and a state-of-the art spa-like bathroom suite with skylights, separate tub and shower big enough for two.
Three additional bedrooms are located on the lower level, one with queen bed and full size futon and a large walk in cedar lined closet. The other bedroom has a full plus twin bunk bed, a full size futon and a large closet. The third is a large living/bedroom combination with a flat screen TV, kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator, and two full size futon sofas.
Washer and dryer are located in the two car garage, which also stores beach toys, boogie boards, and bikes, all available for use by our guests. Don?t forget the convenient outdoor shower and private breezeway to the beach. Listen to the waves and enjoy the beach sunset and 360 degree views from the roof deck with peek-a-boo ocean. If you don't feel like cooking, walk ½ block to a shopping center with pizza, subway, bakery and restaurant, or walk/bike to the Seabridge center, with upscale restaurants, shopping, Coffee Bean, and take a stroll around the marina.
 

What I love about the home

Our home is situated in a superb location steps to the beach and a short bike ride to Channel Islands harbor with cruises, restaurants, water sports and other attractions. If you want to visit other cities during your stay, Santa Barbara is only 30 minutes north, and Malibu is 30 minutes south. We're about 45-60 miles up the coast from Los Angeles. Attractions in the Oxnard area include the stunning Channel Islands National Park. Experience some traditional fun at Ventura County Fairgrounds and Mandalay Beach Park. Step back in time at the Ventura County Maritime Museum or wander along the Ventura Pier for waterfront fun, dining and a casual atmosphere. Local airports include LAX, Burbank, and Oxnard.
