This home was remodeled in 2012. One short mile from the beach and harbor with a walking path from the neighborhood. Beautiful home with granite countertops in the kitchen with all new appliances. Wood laminate flooring throughout, and new carpeting in the bedrooms. Very large back yard for the area with a large tree in the center of the yard providing generous shade, and great branches for a swing or hammock. Large back patio for outdoor entertaining. Fully fenced front and back yards with fruit trees in back including mysore banana, fiji apple, navel orange, pluot, and kiwi vines as well.This is a very attractive vacation home or year round home in a quiet and safe neighborhood nuzzled between the secure military base of Camp Pendleton and the peaceful San Luis Rey River. Nearby Capistrano Park is a great place to have picknicks while the kids have fun on the multiple playgrounds, baseball field, tennis courts, etc. This is the American dream. 

What I love about the home

This is a beautiful home in a highly desired location. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and surprisingly secluded, yet with easy freeway access. I love having two large fully fenced yards, and the dogs appreciate it as well. The nearby Capistrano Park is a great place for children to play, or you can walk the other direction and be at the beach in 10 minutes. A short bike ride will take you to downtown and the Oceanside Pier. We are so close to the ocean that we don't need a/c in this southern california weather. We just put a fan in the window to bring in the cool outside air. I never thought I would be blessed with such a beautiful home in a dream location like this.
