What I love about the home

This home is special because of two reasons. One is the location. It is located in a very quiet area near SDSU. The home sits on a canyon and has views for days. You really feel far removed, yet hop on your bike and campus is a short ride away. Secondly was the pride of workmanship the contractor who did the remodel in 2011 had. He completely remodeled the home, adding 400+ sf of permitted space. He left out no details, including: dimmers on all lights, wire ready in-wall for all TV's and all equipment, wired for surround sound, reinforcing of original footings where additions built, completely finished garage with heavy duty slab, foundational walls for both side fences, rain and adjustable hand held shower heads, composite soaking bathtub, remote-controlled ceiling fans throughout, granite topped central kitchen island, imported Italian porcelain floor tile, westerly views from the kitchen and master bedroom, easy access to crawl space, newer roof, new interior doors and ADA-approved handles, all new soft closing kitchen cabinetry with all-wood fully extendable shelving, full-sized laundry closet off kitchen, five-burner high end range/stovetop, all stainless (inside and out) dishwasher, LED, pendant and under-cabinet lighting in kitchen, newer carpet in master bedroom, French drains installed to redirect water flow to street from neighboring yard, lawn drain installed so no yard water pooling, tiled fireplace bench, backyard wooden benching, R-30 insulation, and roof-mounted "eyebrow" enabling full ventilation of attic area.
