Neighborhood Description
Covedale is a wonderful dog walking neighborhood. People are out in numbers walking in the evenings. Tons of kids and young families. The old Covedale Elementary school was razed and the new school is going up as I type. Its a glowing and vivacious neighborhood full of Tudor homes and giant trees. Its called the "Garden District".
What I love about the home
This was an 'optional floor plan' home that was built as a 2 family. From the street is looks like a single family home. The main floor unit feels and flows like a single family design, NOT an apartment. Remove one wall and you have yourself a huge single family home! The second floor apartment is a one bedroom that is a quaint yet spacious place and provides a great supplemental income that makes owning a home a real pleasure. And tons of manspace. The 2 car garage and the other half of the basement render alot of square footage for whatever one might get into.
