My Notes

Bright, spacious, main floor master with walk-in closet, large rooms, fantastic views, all new plumbing and wiring in 2004, new garage in 2005, and most rooms wired with Cat5e ethernet, phone, and coaxial cable. This is not your typical University home! Winner of the 2007 Missoula Historic Preservation Award for Residential New Construction Compatible Addition, this home has retained the charm of her era, along with adding all of the amenities of present day. Taken down to the studs in 2004, this home was extensively remodeled. The owners made sure that all existing materials were salvaged where possible. When they used new materials, they were as close to original as possible. Milled mahogany on the exterior and milled wood that matched all of the trim inside. Hardwood floors were reconditioned, and salvaged wood was integrated where new wood was being used. the back of the home was extended to provide a bright casual eating area in the kitchen and also it allowed for a large master suite with walk-in closet and private bath on the main floor. In 2005a new 1 1/2 car garage was added. Paver paths and a large paver patio, raised gardens, underground sprinklers, and privacy makes the grounds of this charmer perfect!
