My Notes

Designer ranch style home in great condition. Located in Roble Loma, a one block enclosed community, with only one entrance in and out. Built to be a showcase home for the Parade of Homes in 1979, this home has been maintained and loved by the original owners ever since. Lots of interesting features that were ahead of its time, and lots of cool retro reminders for those that appreciate the designs of that era. The home is in great condition, just needs to be updated per individual taste? Or not, depending again on the buyer. There is an increasing awareness and interest in saving the original character of homes built in the 70s and 80s, so, remember this if you decide to update. Yes, the `top of the line? GE appliances are all original, installed by builder in 1979. But what?s amazing is they are in perfect condition, as if they were never used. What may be outdated to one person, is incredibly cool to others, and this retro market niche is gaining popularity with younger buyers. The home has great flow of floor plan, large kitchen with extra cabinets and a service bar to the breakfast area.
