My Notes

Unit 215 in the highly desirable "The Lofts" building in Shadyside.
This one of a kind authentic industrial Loft is situated in a historical paper factory built in 1890 then converted into condos in the early 90s. This unit was completely redone in 2005. It features 14' ceilings, a wall of 10' windows facing southeast (fantastic sunlight), designer kitchen (all matching stainless steel appliances, Caesar stone counter tops, custom cabinets) and of course the essential true-to-loft-experience exposed brick. There is also a finished loft area above the bathroom (perfect for additional guests, storage, pillow lounge etc), complete with 2 storage cabinets built in. Unit comes furnished (couch, dining table and chairs, kitchenware, and just about everything else except a bed and dresser)
Included is 1 covered, gated, parking spot, central air and central heat (electric is separate, but not very expensive). The building features a roof top sun deck (great views of shadyside, and can also be reserved for private parties), fantastic laundry facility (very clean, 5 HE washers and dryers), gym, and an on site staff during business hours. it is located (literally) next to Whole Foods, walking distance to just about everything in shadyside (Plum, Spoon, BRGR, Target, Wine & Spirits, all the new restaurants on Highland), 5 min walk to Ellsworth, and UPMC. Also located 1 block from the major busway and local bus stations, very very easy to get just about anywhere in Pittsburgh. 20 min walk to CMU (or 10 min bus ride - which run about every 5 mins from Negley and Centre)
