"Bike boulevards" and "quiet streets," are residential streets with low volumes of auto traffic and low speeds where cyclists and pedestrians are given priority. Neighborhood greenways use a handful of traffic calming design strategies to encourage cyclists to use the street as a through route and to make the street safer and more comfortable for bikers and pedestrians alike.
