What I love about the home
OUR FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT LIVING AT 5955 49TH AVE SW - Seeing sunset over the Olympics and moonlight shining on the water from the Master Suite. - Cooking with friends and entertaining in the generously sized kitchen that opens to the family room. In fact, the floor plan throughout the main level is fantastic for small gatherings or large parties! - The four-foot overhanging roof provides insulation year round without blocking light. Upstairs stays cool in the summer with good cross ventilation! - Walking to Lowman Beach, Lincoln Park, Mee-Kwa-Mooks Park, Thriftway grocery store (with great selection of gluten-free products) and Morgan Junction restaurants. - We love books so we added bookshelves throughout the house! It became a paradise for us as readers. - Luxuriating in the master bath jetted tub while looking out the bay windows with views of the tree and Puget Sound. - Very quiet neighborhood with level streets -- great for walking! - Kid? rooms are on same floor as master suite, but are separate, with no adjoining walls. An ideal floor plan for our family! - Very nice neighbors! - The small yard has space for creativity, flowers, vegetables, and fruits, but is not overwhelming and does not require big time commitment to maintain. - We took comfort knowing there is an easement that restricts the parcel to the west from building upwards and blocking the second floor view.
