Lot has an advantage unusual to waterview properties: because the county owns and maintains the 2 1/4 mile hiking/biking trail in front of the property, there is no tax liability for waterfront. However, the unimpeded view is totally free to the property owner who does not pay an increased charge for an incredible waterview but only according to the lot size and location. The 2+ mile waterfront park has an excellent launching area for boats, as well as many sandy beaches for swimming. Fishing, boating, swimming, and hiking or biking are all readily available to owners in the area. Public parking is limited, so it would be wonderful to be located right across from waterfront on which you pay no taxes (since the county owns and maintains it). The listing agent lives in Navy Point herself and has picked it out as her favorite retirement area.
