This home is a grandfathered duplex, but with an interior door between the two halves, so it is also easily livable by one family. As a duplex it consists of two single-bedroom units. As a single-family configuration it has 3 bedrooms, a den, and a walk-in closet.
The property has 40 feet of waterfront with steps to the beach. The house is built really close to the water (far closer than you can build today), so it can be remodeled to be a spectacular place. At the street there is 36 feet, so a remodel could also include a garage (the property does not currently have a garage).
We are in no rush to move (we love it here!), but if you are interested in living down here, for the right price we would! Note that you only want to purchase this property if you fit within one of three types of buyers. (1) investor who wants to rent it out, etc. (2) someone who wants to knock the place down and build an amazing waterfront home in a desirable location in the city. or (3) someone who doesn't mind living in an old funky house and maintaining and slowly evolving it to their needs (we are in this category).
 

What I love about the home

- Being right on the water. - Being down the hill off the road. It is like living in a park and you don't feel as though you are living on a major street (Beach drive) at all. - Friendly neighbors.
