Nestled on a hillside near the middle fork of the Consumnes River in Placerville, CA. this well maintained three bedroom, two full bath home provides an idyllic private setting. The front door opens on to an entry with inlayed hardwood floors and a wide open floor plan. The wood-burning stove in the living room augments the central heating system in winter to keep the heating bills down. The laundry room and pantry are centrally located. The kitchen, nook and master bedroom all look out on the roomy deck. All three bedrooms are large, with a newly installed hardwood floor in the master. The master also has external access to the deck and separate access to the side yard. The deck overlooks much of the five acre parcel with tree covered hillsides. Breezes frequently waft up the from the river, providing natural cooling, so that the central air conditionaing is needed on only the hottest of days. The large parcel provides ample room for many activities. A former horse property, it still has stalls, a paddock and level pad that could be a riding arena, or space for a large shop or outbuilding. The garage contains an office with multiple phone lines. There is a playground for children and an extensive parking area for cars, boats, trucks and trailers of all sizes.
