A commuter?s dream, Bucknell is near everything, but away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Bucknell is close to shopping, Old Town, the Metro at Huntington and is an easy commute into DC, the Pentagon, Fort Belvoir, Alexandria or most places around the Beltway. There is a wonderful community atmosphere in Bucknell, which is one of the many reasons people move there. School aged children living in the community attend Belle View Elementary, Carl Sandburg Middle School and West Potomac High School.

What I love about the home

Bucknell is a great place to live! The community of Bucknell has been so welcoming to us. We?ve come to know our neighbors through the years and consider many of them dear friends who we will greatly miss when we move. That is what we love most about this home. We?ve developed such great relationships with those we?ve met in our neighborhood. Walks around the block, admiring the tree-lined streets, tidy lawns and smiling faces that wave graciously as we stroll by. These are the things that we?ve loved about our home here in Bucknell Manor. And these are the things that we will miss most as we leave this splendid community behind.
