My Notes

Edit
Red Victorian, on hill top and over looks Mystic with a large yard. Walking distance to downtown Mystic. Enjoy the outdoors from the patio, porch, deck or balcony.
Neighborhood Description
The neighborhood is very friendly and has a lot of younger kids as well as professionals. We have a neighborhood Christmas party every year, and everyone is always willing to help if needed.

What I love about the home

The dining room is bright, large and airy and it opens up into the living room whose center piece is a retro pellet stove. The dining room has a built in mail center / desk which allows us to stay all that much more organized. The living room has wonderful stained glass door that leads to the sun room in addition to a built in media niche that has been wired for surround sound. The floors are in excellent condition and the original coal stove floor grate has been left in place for additional character. The sun room is an awesome little space that can be used for meals 3 seasons during the year. The sun room opens up to a deck looking out over a blue stone patio and a very expansive yard for Mystic. The kitchen has beautiful built in cabinets, with a hand crafted cooks kitchen featuring a gas stove, wine fridge, oversize sink, granite counter tops, butcher block prep area, and a walk in panty. The downstairs bathroom features a walk in shower, and oversize farm sink. The stairs leading to the second floor are accented by stain glass windows. At the top of the stairs is the second bathroom which features a laundry area, pristine claw foot tub, and walk in shower, all tastefully tiled to go along with the homes character while maintaining a spa like retreat. The master bedroom has a door out to a balcony featuring water views, his and hers closet in addition to the refinished original hardwood floors. The second bedroom has a large closet, and built in desk making it the perfect space for a school age child. The attic is finished with a built in desk and is used as a bedroom / office but would also make a wonderful art studio. I have been updating the house and yard over the last few years which makes me love it more every day.
