The Barber Tract Neighborhood is one of the most unique, quaint neighborhoods in La Jolla. Today it is the most sought after community and was named after one of the original owners, Phillip Barber. Movie stars like to move to this wonderful neighborhood to enjoy the seaside community adorned with European style architecture including English Tutors, Spanish Colonials, French Normandy, English Cottages and more. As you stroll through this quiet neighborhood you will find hidden beach access down small cul-de-sacs, secret gardens, and expansive white sand beaches. Each street has uniqueness about it with vine-covered walls, palm tree-lined streets, white picked fences. A homeowners group sends out a quarterly newsletter on all of the Barber Tract events. The events include family gatherings in May, on the Forth of July, at Christmas, and more. The events are held at different neighbors? homes and it is a great way to meet your neighbors.
