A retro museum piece in that very little is newer than the 60's, but in great condition.
Neighborhood Description
One of the country's best organized unincorporated areas in the 70's, Barron Park negotiated with the city to retain its rural character, with limited sidewalks, rural post boxes, and preservation. Neighbors take walks in the evenings and know each other, and you can do star watching since streetlights are carefully limited toward safety only. Always a diverse neighborhood, it is attracting buyers from other countries due to the reputation of its public school system, and the high school a few blocks west made US Weekly's top 50.

What I love about the home

Backyard has complete privacy for skinny dipping in an organically grown flower garden (veggies intermixed) of perennials and self-seeding annuals. Includes a combination 1/2 inch and micro system that automates watering, even of poolside pots. Although you are diagonally less than 3 blocks from El Camino, it feels like you live in the country, complete with rural post box. The high school is one of US Weekly's top 50 and the neighborhood enclave takes walks and knows each other. Close to Highways 280 and 101 with little development between the blocks of this neighborhood and the ocean.
