The home was renovated in 2008 after it was taken over from a foreclosure. The home was stripped of virtually everything. Lots of TLC was put back into the home over the years and we love our home and the neighborhood. It's a 3 - 2 with pool and attached garage. Has a new kitchen with all new appliances, wood flooring throughout the home, new irrigation system and sod. The property is in a high walk-able area with restaurants all within a few blocks. Also minutes away from downtown. This was our first starter home and we are highly attached to it, however if a nice price comes in we'll give it a thought. We are under no pressure to move.
In the mean time, we'll continue adding new upgrade to the home over the years.
Neighborhood Description
The neighbors are friendly and everything is near by such as: I-4, Edgewater Drive strip w/ shops & restaurants, Amway Center, Downtown Orlando, Florida Hospital, new Sun Rail stop, new Dr Phillips Performing Arts Center, Citrus Bowl, Winter Park and etc. All within 5-10 minute drive.
 

What I love about the home

It's a great starter home with lots of upgrades. Looking from outside doesn't look like much, but when you walk-in everyone always says, "wow nice upgrades, great kitchen & there's a pool!" We recently upgraded the insulation in the attic and exterior walls (foam insulation), added a solar attic fan and solar water heater, installed a new dual speed (hear pump) 15 seer 4 ton AC unit and new dual speed pool pump. Yes electric bill is super low now with all of these upgrades added in Oct of 2013. The home has been taken care of since we bought it and took it over. Lots of great memories here and it's been only since 2008!
