Lovely brick colonial in affordable Carole Highlands- blocks to Sligo Creek Park, close to metro and commuter routes, yet outside the city of Takoma Park limits so no TP taxes! This is a quiet leafy street with mature trees and well tended yards. When you are upstairs in the bedrooms the view is of trees! The large living room has a fireplace, beautiful refinished hardwood floors and built-in bookshelves. There is a separate dining room with a new iron chandelier. The kitchen is roomy with a brand new floor, newer stainless appliances and bright white cabinets. The bathroom has been updated with new ceramic tile and a pedestal sink. Many updates by current owner, including electrial heavy up, new plumbing,replacement windows, HVAC,gutters, downspouts and waterproofing of the basement.
