My Notes

Tucked away (not visible from the road) in an English Garden village-like setting, this development won a BEST ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN award. The condo is a very private end unit with over 2000 sq. ft. of living space (much more square footage than other units in the complex), and lots of windows to let in an abundance of light.
The first floor features a spacious great room with 9 ft. ceilings and fireplace, huge kitchen (with seamless corian countertops, glass-and oak-paneled cupboards, high-end appliances and plenty of space for an island) and dining room with chandelier that all flow together as one unified space, adorned by beautiful Mexican-style flooring. There is also an office and half bath.
The 2nd floor has 2 enormous bedrooms, each attached to full baths. The Master Bath boasts a large jacuzzi tub and double showers, and there is a large walk-in closet attached to the Master Bdm. A laundry station is conveniently located between the two bedrooms.
A covered deck lined with planter boxes overlooks tree-lined meadows. This is the only unit in the complex with 2 garages (next to one another). If only one garage is desired, PRICE WILL BE REDUCED BY $7,000. Lounging around the meticulously-maintained pool and looking out over copper-lined roofs, one might think they were in an Alpine village.
A hop, skip and a jump from the Interstate, Frankfort Ave. restaurants and shops, and close to Waterfront Park, Downtown Louisville, the Kennedy Bridge, the Airport and the Univ. of Louisville.

What I love about the home

The spaciousness and large windows letting in an abundance of light create a very uplifting, liberating ambiance. The village-like configuration enables friendly relations with neighbors and the hidden aspect of this location provides for extremely good security. Close to the Ohio River, the Frankfort Ave. business district with restaurants, library and boutiques, Waterfront Park, downtown Louisville, the Interstate, the airport and the University of Louisville.
