Four stories: Walk into entry-way, up the stairs to the main level which includes kitchen, living area with gas fireplace and door to balcony, and a half bath. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops with plenty of storage space. There is also an eating bar that fits three bar stools where one can eat as well as sit down and watch the chef cook. Up one more flight is the laundry, full bathroom, and two decent sized bedrooms. One more flight leads you to the master loft which is huge and has awesome views of Mt. Rainier and downtown as well as the Olympic Mt. range. It also has a large closet that is a partial walk-in and an attached master bath. A skylight with a nook in the corner completes the master.
Neighborhood Description
Like I said above, neighbors are very friendly and over six years I have made some lifelong friends who would drop anything to help out. I also noted that the proximity to parks, stores, bus stops (one right in front on 24th Ave that goes north and downtown), great schools (if that is important to you), etc. make this an amazing place to call home. The only reason we are moving is to be able to expand our family and get a little more room for that purpose. Ballard is an amazing place to live and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to call home in Seattle!
 

What I love about the home

The neighbors (not just in the six-unit townhouse community but all of the neighbors I have met around us over the six plus years I have been an owner here), the amount of natural light and views, kitchen size (my husband is a chef so that is is very important!), master bedroom size, wood floors on main level, size of other two bedrooms, closet sizes in all bedrooms, proximity to grocery stores, coffee shops, bakeries (Larsen's especially!), parks (can see Loyal Heights park and community center from our house), etc. My son's preschool is less than two blocks away. I feel that we have access to everything we need within walking distance which is amazing, especially for a stay at home mom who didn't have a car of my own for over a year!
