What I love
I love this home. We raised 3 children here and are now downsizing. There's a hill in the backyard for sledding and a pool and decks for summer parties. The house has a warm inviting feel to it and lends itself to family gatherings.Neighborhood Description
Hurley is a friendly community steeped in history. Every year there is Stone House Day in July and the Corn and Craft Fair in August. The community is very safe and neighbors all look out for each other. The elementary school is one of the best in the district. There is also a rec park .2 mile from the house with a playground, tennis, ball field and pool. The rail trail is a busy place with walkers, runners, bikers, and sometimes the occasional horseback rider. Just 3 miles away is the city of Kingston and the NYS Thruway. Woodstock is close by as are the Catskill Mts and several ski resorts.More Less
