This is a beatiful property in the Village of Four Lakes neighborhood with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a 3 car garage with tons of rafter and shelf storage in the garage! Sprinkler system with timers takes care of your yard. You will find a gardener's paradise in the backyard where a 30-foot by 4-foor redwood retainer raised garden is in the path of the sun. Home is wired for cable in nearly every single room. Master and two bedrooms plus master bath and second bath are located on the second floor of the property. Fourth bedroom and fourth bath are located in the finished basement. Laundry room is in the basment, along with a second "great room" or potential pool table room (room was sized for a pool table). Master bedroom has a one-door exit onto a small deck overlooking the mountains. In addition to air conditioning, we have an attic fan on the second floor and to save money on your utility bill, it pays to turn down the AC and use the attic fan to pull in cool air all night long during the summer!Huge front porch allows you to relax and face out into the community where you can conveniently see Abbott Park just one house away where there is playground equipment and a picnic pavilion and soccer fields. Swimming pool, tennis courts and greenbelt is just down the street. Homeowner's Association ($60/mo) includes key to tennis courts and one entry key card to the pool from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Centennial's new bicycle lanes on wider residential streets wind through this neighborhood. Entire subdivision is on a one mile circle so for exercise purposes, it's as though you have a track exactly 1 mile long right off the steps of your front porch. House on googlemaps shows up as beige but in 2009 we painted it a nice Victorian yellow with white trim, we added navy shutters and wine color on the front porch. HUGE red cement back porch is great for entertaining and leads into the grassy area where there's plenty of room for soccer or other games with the kids. Nearly every room has a ceiling fan, we installed those shortly after purchasing this home in 2007. Every window has a window covering treatment.This is just a gem of a home and the neighbors are first rate! Mailbox is a community box but it is conveniently located in front of this home! Additionally, the elementary school bus line, L4, picks up and drops off in front of this house. Littleton Public Schools (www.littletonpublicschools.net), a blue ribbon distinction district, has the home schools of this home as Sandburg Elementary, Powell Middle School and Arapahoe High School. There are restaurants and shopping areas including a Target and Sunflower Market within walking distance and access to C-470 via S. University Blvd. within 1/2 mile of the home. The Streets of Southglenn with outdoor shops, a Whole foods market and a Stadium Seating Hollywood Theater is about 1 mile away just noth on S. University Blvd. at Arapahoe Road. It doesn't get much better than this! While the market was down, the owners turned this into a rental property and tenants are excellent people taking great care of the property. The MAKE ME MOVE price would not be until at least May, 2013, when the term of our rental contract is done with our tenants.
Neighborhood Description
This is a safe neighborhood with wide streets. The Denver Mormon Temple is at the top of the neighborhood, so while you cannot really even see it at our home, nor would you ever need to drive by it if you did not want to, due to the fact such a landmark is in the actual neighborhood, the area is well kept and beautiful. Abbott Park is one-house-away from the property, so you can just leave the front door and there you are at a huge park that hosts baseball, soccer and football nearly every weekend, along with a big kid playground and toddler park as well, plus, it has a full basketball court and a picnic shelter.
