My Notes

Edit
This redone house on a quiet block, needs mostly paint, carpet minor repairs. Much better house than it appears. Tenants were "pigs" and house was not well cared for by them. All the good stuff is there, though: New window, new furnace, CAC, new kitchen: bathroom is the worst part. Needs new tub or re porcelain. When the smoke clears, you will have a $850-$1,250 rental. And there are retail sales! Worth seeing. And the price is right! Price: $22,500Rent: $850-$1,250Cost to repair rental 8.5K-12.5KTaxes: $1,87750% homeowners1,100 sq. ft. Market guide

Zillow predicts Brooklyn home values will decrease 2.2% next year, compared to a 0.2% fall for Baltimore as a whole. Among Brooklyn homes, this home is valued 1.3% more than the midpoint (median) home, but is valued 69.5% less per square foot.

Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years. In Brooklyn, the number of foreclosures waiting to be sold is 57.8% higher than in Baltimore, and 341.9% higher than the national average. This higher local number may prevent Brooklyn home values from rising as quickly as other regions in Baltimore.
