Some people know what they want in a home and how to go about getting it. It is even better when the same people understand class, quality and functionality. The owners of this home fit that mold and built this spectacular one and a half story traditional on 8 acres. There are few homes that I know of that have a fog retardant heated shaving mirror in the luxury tile and granite shower and that is just the beginning. The architectural exterior accents would make a European citizen smile. the stone and brick work mingles with flecks of stucco and plank siding. The mixture of hip and gable end roofing along with dormers adds character. The interior features an open floor plan with many different levels and ceiling heights. The natural lighting streams in, through the custom Andersen windows, from every direction. In addition, there must be around 100 recessed lights spanning the whole of the interior.The flooring flows from natural Brazilian hardwood to inlaid and running ceramic tile. All the lighting and plumbing fixtures were hand selected by the sellers and are both decorative and stylish. The trim work and built-in cabinets are all natural stained hardwood and include amenities like an entertainment center in the family room, bookshelves and a unique pool cue cabinet in the living/billiard room and several custom vanity cabinets in the three full baths. Rather than tell you about the master bedroom suite I will simply instruct you to look at the great home photos. It will display the suite better than I can do it justice with words. The property also features a 60 x 40 detached garage/workshop. It has 14" sliding doors and can fit a tractor trailer or a large travel home. It is heated, has water and electric service. This may be the ultimate getaway area. Just think of all the toys you can have including a nice car collection with room to spare. The view surrounding the home is a bonus if you like looking at the Blue Mountains. The home is close to Rte. 78 and is convenient to both the Allentown area and Harrisburg.
