Located on the Boxford/Topsfield line on a quiet hillside Cul-de-Sac. This home has the charming look of an English Manor with its' English bluestone façade. 4+ acres, this is a very attractive and manageable house in a very convenient but private location. The interior was professionally redesigned and renovated in sophisticated style, including a tasteful use of marble, terracotta tiling and peg and groove wood flooring. The floor plan is open, sunny with large flowing rooms, 3 fireplaces and a private-entranced au pair/guest suite. This is a special house ideal for family & entertaining - experience it for yourself!

What I love about the home

The home has a wonderful feel and warmth: sunny, flowing and open. We like the fact that from the outside it doesn't appear to be as big as it is, & although relatively large w/large rooms throughout it doesn't cavernous feel at all. (Perhaps surprisingly, it does look quite large from a good aerial photo.) This isn't a house for everyone. It's not a typical stunning New England cape nor one of the beautiful Colonial or Antique houses in the area. In that respect & others, it's unique for New England. Our guess is that you'll know if this is the right house for you just as we did soon after you walk in the front door. (And that was before we ''built a house within a house'', renovating virtually every room from & building additional rooms which took 9 months & $240K to give you a sense of the extent of renovations.) We have loved living and raising our children here, and will have so many wonderful memories with our family and friends having lived in this truly wonderful home.
