My Notes

Edit
This home is well maintained and very comfortable on over an acre of land with a private drive. It borders the woods of Fairmount Park. You will enter the house into a foyer with steps that rise to the second floor. Once in the front door, you can walk to the right into a dining room/living room with a fireplace. Beyond the living room is an office/library with built in bookcases. There is also an exit door into the yard leading to the woods of Fairmount Park. From the foyer, you can go straight to a tiled powder room or go left to a modern kitchen with high end appliances (Wolf, Bosch). Beyond the eat in kitchen is a family room with windows all around and views of the large yard. There is a wood burning stove in the family room for cozy, warm winter nights. To the rear of the house, you will find a laundry room with a washer and dryer and a mud room which leads out to the spacious back yard. Upstairs are four bedrooms and two baths. Once at the top of the stairs, you can turn right and go past two huge closets including a cedar closet. At the end of the hall is the entrance to the master bedroom suite. It is a large and private suite with a sitting room, a walk in dressing room with a sink and built in drawers. The room with the bed has a window seat and two built in closets with shelves. There are also sliding doors that lead to a private balcony overlooking the woods. The marble bathroom has a shower with two heads as well as a bidet next to the toilet. The sink has a built in medicine cabinet. At the top of the stairs you can turn left to three bedrooms and the bathroom. The bathroom has a large soaking tub for relaxing after a tough day. Each bedroom is unique. The first bedroom has built in cabinetry, shelving and a closet. The second bedroom has a loft for storage or a play area. The third bedroom is smaller and has two windows with great views. Actually, there are amazing views from every room in the house. The basement is lined with closets with shelves for lots of storage. The outside has mature landscaping and offers the peace and quiet of country living. There is a parking area for 3 to 4 cars. It is very private, on a private drive and is a special and unique property.

What I love about the home

This unique property is private and borders Fairmount Park. It feels like country living and is a 10 minute drive to Center City Philadelphia. I can walk outside and be in the woods or walk a few minutes to great restaurants. It is a little like heaven on earth!!!!
