My Notes

This 1886 square foot single family home has 3 bedrooms and 2.0 bathrooms. It is located at 921 14th Ave S Nashville, Tennessee.

What I love about the home

A 1930's fully renovated home with 500 sq ft addition. Located blocks from Vanderbilt, Belmont and the Gulch, with finished garage or shop. ? Morning sun facing front garden, bedroom, and office with evening shade over rear screened porch. Established perennial gardens throughout, with 6-foot rear privacy fence for optimal security. Located in a quiet neighborhood within the Music Row/Edge Hill Village district of Nashville, it is ideal for both walking or bike enthusiasts. Custom-built cedar-shingled garden house and refurbished brick walk ways create a private, secluded courtyard for family and pets. ? Three bedrooms, two baths, two offices and/or small library. An open-style dining room and den face the large gourmet open kitchen. All windows have been replaced throughout with energy efficient units and are custom fitted with European-style solid steel security bars. Large walk-in closet and laundry with tank-less water heater serves the master bedroom. Storage of linen and clothes provided by two large closets off the master bedroom as well as a cedar-lined coat closet in rear office. ? Eight and ten foot ceilings, red oak floors, tile baths, shower enclosures, and kitchen, broad baseboards, and window casements with generous sills, three piece crown molding installed throughout. Built-in cabinets, desks, file storage drawers, and bookcases in offices and living room. Original classic, wide window moldings and sills have been preserved or replicated. A small wood burning fireplace is the center piece of the living room. ? 600 sq ft finished garage/shop with 10 foot ceilings, built-in 16 foot workbench, built-in shelving, 200 amp electrical service panel with underground feed to the house, 230 volt electrical and power-tool outlet with convenient 130 volt outlets provided in the shop. A fully cedar- lined closet for winter clothes storage. ? Eakin Elementary, West End Middle School, Hillsboro High School.
