Situated on a large corner lot in quiet Cherry comfortable family living. As you enter the foyer with hardwood flooring from the rocking chair front porch, you see the large dining room with a large arched window, 12 foot ceilings and hardwood floors to the left and the spacious living room straight ahead. The living room has a triple trey ceiling, new hardwood flooring as well as a gas log fireplace with a surrounding wall of deep built-in cabinets suitable for storage and all your entertainment hook-ups.
Behind the formal living room is a sunroom/playroom with access to the back courtyard and master suite. The floors in this room were redone from carpet to tile for easier maintenance. The oversized master suite (approx. 18x20) has room for a king-sized bed as well as a sitting area. As you enter the oversized master bath (approx. 15x17) you pass his & her closets (her closet 12x9 features rods on both sides and multiple shelves for storing all her in-season as well as out-of-season clothing and shoes). The spa like master bath features tile floors, new brushed nickel chandelier, oversized jetted tub, separate tiled shower, his/her vanities and separate linen storage for each.
The children's bedrooms are separated from the master by the living room. The front bedroom has a beautiful arched window, 12 foot ceilings, and a walk-in closet. The other bedroom has an alcove with a separate light that would make a nice desk area perfect for a computer and studying. The children's area also has a large full bath with large built-in matching cabinet and a built-in storage cabinet in the hallway.
To the other side of the home, the spacious kitchen has lighting under the whitewashed maple cabinetry with some roll out shelving, new garnite countertops, cook top with separate oven/microwave unit, dishwasher, garbage disposal, trash compactor, and under counter ice maker as well as a side by side 'fridge with ice and water through the door. The new Italian tile floors tie the separate breakfast room with pantry to the side porch with covered entry. The tile floors extend through the back hallway to the 4th bedroom perfect for guests, the 3rd full bath and the garage. The 14x17 den features a wet bar with new silestone counter and glass front cabinets for barware storage, hardwood floors and a triple trey ceiling with can lights as well as a fan with ceiling light with wall mounted controls as well as French doors to the rear courtyard. Interior French doors connect this room back to the living room.
The 2 car oversized (approx. 25x25) garage has a utility room with shelves for storage, one of the 2 water heaters that service the house and the control panel for the extensive irrigation system. Also in the garage is a heated and cooled craft room with a window to the courtyard. The pull down stairs allow you to access the floored attic space over the garage as well as the rest of the house.
There are 2 water heaters so you never have to worry about running out of hot water as well as 2 heat pumps with energy saving programmable thermostats to keep both sides of this home comfortable day and night. The large laundry room near the master bedroom has built-in shelving for storage. To finish the home there is a security system and wide crown molding and oversized base boards through out. Most rooms also have ceiling fans with wall switches and dimmer switches for the lighting.
This executive home has everything you will need from the wonderfully finished interior to the exterior with entertaining and play spaces for the kids!
This house has had all the floors except 2 baths redone. The kitchen, laundry room,sunroom and 3rd bath all have new tile. All bedrooms and their closets as well as the den, living room and hallways have had gunstock walnut hardwoods put down to match what was existing in the foyer and dining room.
The kitchen has new granite counters, a new sink and a modern faucet.
 

What I love about the home

This neighborhood is much quiter than Stone Creek. The houses are very diverse with most in phase one of Cherry Creek Hills having side facing garages so you don't see what's in your neighbor's garage. The original requirements were for wood windows. After living in several other states and neighborhoods, this has to be the top. The neighbors are so friendly, when we moved in we were welcomed with food and care packages which was wonderful with a toddler and baby!
