Looking for 5 month tenants for April 20-September 30, 2014. Spend the summer in Los Angeles 15 minutes from the beach!About the house:Two bedroom/1 bath house with detached office / laundry room in a quiet neighborhood. 2 car driveway parking (perfect for medium sized cars), cozy fenced backyard area with towering bamboo, tons of privacy!In the house:Fully furnished with living room and bedroom furniture. Silverware, dishware, cookware, Semi-New stainless steel appliances in kitchen (Fridge, stove, oven, microwave). Huge walk in closet (closet will be mostly emptied out, we just store a couple of things on the top shelf). Original hardwood floors throughout. Granite counter tops, dishwasher, garbage disposal, Heat. WI-FI, landline phone, flatscreen TV with basic cable and Boxee hookups (for streaming netflix, youtube, etc) and DVD player.In the back office:There's a washer & dryer, tanker desk and workbench, Outlets for electronics, WI-FI, Projector and huge screen for movie nights (couch is perfect for lounging and watching movies). Small sink with storage below. Huge sliding door is great for opening up the space to get some air and perfect for hang-outs. This back office is also alarm-protected.In the back yard:We will be leaving a charcoal grill, some string lights, a hose and that's about it. The rest of the space is yours!The location:Talk about a prime Los Angeles location! The house is within walking distance from Downtown Culver City and Sony Studios. If you're not familiar with Downtown Culver City, there are some great new restaurants and a very popular nighttime scene, including an awesome movie theater, the Culver Hotel (very famous), Starbucks, Sportsbars, Winebars, pubs - ALL within a 8 minute walk! Trader Joes is located there as well with convenient parking. In the other direction, we're just a few short blocks away from the new Metro line that will run from Downtown LA to Santa Monica, Bobs liquor store, Coop pizza, and more. Venice is a short 6 miles away and same with Hollywood. You cannot get more central and more walkable than this place!Who we are looking for:We are looking for a quiet, respectful and reliable residents to sublet long term throughout the summer. The street we live on is one of the only streets with tenants who have lived there for 15+ years. They are all great neighbors and look out for the house and for us. No smoking, and no large pets. Under 35 pounds accepted with additional deposit of $500. Rent is $2,400 a month with a $2,000 refundable deposit, minus a $100 cleaning fee. Any damage to property will be charged. We will include the basics like new towels, sheets, cleaning supplies, cooking spices and cookware, silverware and dining ware, toilet paper and paper towels.We also have other rentals available.
