This school is awfull they spend more time giving kids behavor slips then they do teaching. I have talked with so many other parents and they say the same. They want perfection from these kids and tell them write your name incursive but the sheet says name not signature and bam a behavior slip is sent home. These teachers are out of control.

Two sour apples should not be the only review about this school teachers and administrators. I've been an art mom and room mom at Hadley for almost ten years. My four children have had many different teachers and principals over the years; all have been outstanding educators as well as kind caring and considerate professionals. I've never had a problem contacting one of my children's teachers or felt they were not meeting their needs. It feels as though there is a sort of shared philosophy among the staff administration and teachers. If anyone is unhappy with how things are at Hadley it is probably because some unrealistic demand was made or a parent is not willing to see their child as he/she is in reality (meaning not the gifted student or perfectly behaved). I don't know how it is in other communities but Homer parents are notorious for gossiping about teachers and teams. If anyone is unhappy about a situation they should become part of a solution by getting involved not sit idly by and complain about something they really probably know little about. Bottom line is Hadley is a wonderful school and we are fortunate to have such a great place to send our children.
Great school great teachers. They push the kids to excel in which I really like.
I completely agree that the faculty including the teachers don't seem to care about the students well-being. Communication with parents when there are issues is also a joke.
My stepson was a student at this school for two years and I was not impressed. I believe the teachers are caring but the administration seems lack any type of follow through. I am a principal in another community and if I ran my building in the lackadaisical manner as the principal and assistant principal run this building I would expect to be fired.
