Hydesville School is a wonderful school with amazing teachers most of whom have been teaching there for several decades! That longevity of teachers is very meaningful to the fabric of the school and creates a truly positive learning environment for the kids. The small class sizes particularly in the primary grades is of course a great benefit for those kids in K through 3rd/4th. The teachers are truly what make Hydseville School the great safe and effective school that it is particularly since they do not seem to be as appreciated as they should be by the administration. The school has implemented a part-time music program which is another plus and actively participates in many sports programs. Academics however are job #1 at this school as it should be! The new school board that is now in place is taking serious their role to provide a safe effective learning environment.
