I highly don't recommend this school. I have just finished my three years at talmadge and they were absolutely horrible. More than half the teachers don't even seem like they want to teach. You work very hard to only get a little bit out of it. Almost all the teachers are detention happy. If you have a kid who is ADHA/ADD or advanced it is a nightmare. My brother happens to be ADHD and needs to be in an advance math class. They will not move him up and he always is first to complete assigned class work. Not only does he get bored but receives detentions for trying to talk to others. Myself being in advance math have not found the one on one attention I needed. I barely got by in math. My parents have not been pleased with the staff either. My brother has been sent home several times in tears due to how teachers have treated him. Not only is the staff rude but disrespectful. The only nice staff members are the principal and three main office ladies. Highly don't recommend this school. I feel like it was a big waste of my time. I no longer enjoy school like I use to. They also offered little electives. Either we could have art p.e. and Heath or band or choir.

Talmage Middle School is a very cool school but very disiplined. I love when they give out gold cats.

Being new to the area this school year I was concerned about the quality of the schools in the area. My worries were quickly put to rest. The administration teachers and students are great. I can email all of my child's teachers and know that I will have a response before the end of the day and not be made to feel like I am bothering them. Mr. LaBounty the principal has been helpful understanding and is generally always available to listen to a concern and address it in a timely and efficient manner. Thank you Talmadge for making us feel welcome!
