This WAS a great school. We had some award winning teachers. My kids have attended this school since 2008. We have a new principal parent liaison and administrative assistant this year. The principal and parent liaison came as a package deal. They have taken the family atmosphere and turned into one of fear and toxicity. Until Mr. Tuttle and Mrs. Guthrie learn to respect their staff and students I would not recommend sending any children into their care. My kids currently attend but I am affraid to send them today after last night's Pto meeting. These two individuals have a racial and religious insensitivity that in truly unconscionable. Before sending any child to this school i encourage you to ask the teachers if they feel supported. I would also look heavily into how science is taught in our district. Ips incorporates science into other subjects "when they can." Our former principal understood the importance of science and allowed the teachers to teach it. The staff brought us from a D to a B+ without this guy. The staff is wonderful but they are not be allowed to do what they love TEACH!
