California Standards Test (CST)

In 2011-2012 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. Jackson has a good focus on getting the whole child ready for the future. The schools programs are a wonderful balance of the academic and the arts. Teachers work hard to help every child achieve beyond their potential in reading writing math and science. Volunteers help to teach dance music computer publishing and art.

I am not a parent but I am a former student. I have many brothers and sisters. They all go to an Elementary school but they are not doing as well as they did in Jackson. Jackson helped them with their creatativity and it helped them with learning the material of school. I went to that school and now I'm one of the smartest kids in my class.
