Candy Lane is a terrific school with an excellent Principal and Staff. The teachers love the kids and are very encouraging and organized. The parent group is very engaged and provides a lot of fun activities and financial grants for the students and teachers. The students seem to really love the support staff and the custodian. It is great for the kids to have a positive blend of the Spanish and English culture. I have two kids who have completed elementary at Candy Lane and one entering. I would definitely recommend the school to parents.

Candy Lane is a tremendous close-knit community that offers children a bilingual education and cultural understanding.
this school is great and the teachers are amazing
My children loved their teachers at Candy Lane and their bilingual program is an asset to the district.
My son had Ms. Ramos for his 4th grade teacher last year 2007-2008. He liked her and said she was really fair. The home work was not too much but enough to keep him busy and learning. Now my twins will be attending and my daughter got Ms. Ramos for her 4th grade teacher. Her twin brother got Mr. Hanson. I hear Mr. Hanson is a cool teacher and gets along great with his class. I totally recommend this school if anyone is interested in moving to the Milwaukie area. Lynn
