    My daughter attended this middle school in 2007/2008. She has since moved on to Northwestern HS. We found the staff and teachers to be very professional and caring. There were a few communication hiccups (there still are) but some were our child's doing. They try to give the students more responsibility with completing assignments and sending information home in order to prepare for HS where it is pretty much all their responsibility. Our daughter enjoyed attending and the atmosphere was a good one. It may have changed since her time as we have noticed the high school doing but we were happy with this school.

    I am not impressed with the teacher's concern in helping students learn. There is a lack of communication between parent and teachers. Teachers do not return emails. They seem to think their way is the only way.
