Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests End-of-Instruction Exams (OCCT EOI)

In 2008-2009 Oklahoma used the Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests End-of-Instruction (OCCT EOI) exams to test students in high school in algebra I, algebra II, English II, English III, geometry, biology I and U.S. history upon completion of each course. The OCCT EOI is a high school graduation requirement. The OCCT EOI exams are standards-based tests, which means they measure specific skills defined for each subject by the state of Oklahoma. The goal is for all students to score at or above the satisfactory level on the test.

Positives no violence small classes kids from pre-k to 12 attend in the same set of buildings. Negative very small choice of classes no vocal program does not allow college courses to be counted toward high school credit changing teachers some classes are via tv/internet due to lack of teachers.

This is my son's first year at Kremlin High School and he is having a great time. I went to the parent / teacher conference and was very impressed with all of his teachers. Every staff member I met that morning knew my son's name and expressed their gratitude that he was a part of the student body. He feels that every student there is a friend of his. When we first contacted the school the staff wanted to be sure he would be the right kind of student that meant a lot to me.

I am proud to be a student of Kremlin-Hillsdale School. We are ranked as one of the top schools in Garfield County. We have the best facility a student could ask for. Our administration is excellent and our teachers are the best. Our academics are on the top of the scale. Ranking in the top of academic team competitions we strive to make academics a priority and we work hard. My school is very enjoyable to be at everyday.

I have taught at Kremlin-Hillsdale Schools for the past nine years and am very proud to be a staff member. As faculty members we strive to encourage our students to excel at academics and hopefully learn a little bit about life along the way. The extra-curricular activities are an important part of this school's curriculum. Students are very well-rounded at KHS and I'm very proud to be a Bronc.

My children have attended Kremlin-Hillsdale School since Kindergarten. I'm amazed at the quality of education this school has to offer. Caring teachers challenging academic programs and lots of fun healthy extra-curricular activities (sports band drama academic teams FFA FCA 4-H) make this an excellent school to attend. Keep up the GREAT JOB Kremlin-Hillsdale School!!

My child threatened to kill themselves because of the bullying. He/she went to the counselor but the counselor didn't do anything about it. My child has also been threatened by a couple students. We are very unsatisfied Kremlin-Hillsdale.
