This school is considered a mission of the church tht supports it. As parents we are to 'raise our children in the way they should go'. SOTH helps parents accomplish this goal. In addition to the basics (Reading Writing and Arithmetic) the children learn daily Bible verses and hymns. The children learn music art and drama. They are also encouraged to join in the sports teams that include volleyball flag football basketball softball and track (as a minimum). You will not find this level of education at any of the surrounding public schools.

This school has wonderful programs in spite of its small size. It offers all the programs needed for a well-rounded education. Parents are highly involved and the academic standards are high.
