I love EKMS!! Both of my children attended EKMS. Both of my children are gifted learners. I am grateful that the teaching staff recognizes and embraces all students. EKMS has amazing teachers and staff that care and put their students before anything else. I tell everyone that my children's abilities come from a solid foundation of excellent educators! Our Principal is an amazing leader she knows her staff and knows their abilities.

This school is an ok school the principal needs to be replaced she is two-face and is not truly compassionate towards all kids...we must treat everyone equally..the teachers are snobbish...wouldn't send my child back to this school

I love Ethel Kight because my child's teachers love her and all of the students. She goes above and beyond the call of duty to make all students feel welcome.

Ethel Kight Magnet School is a one of the top schools in the state as far as I am concerned. It has been named a Distinguished School for five years in a row. The teachers truly are experts. They work collaboratively to meet the need of every student. The prinicpal is an instructional leader and cares about her students and her staff. The school embraces all students. Excellent instruction! Excellent school!

My son has been at Ethel Kight for 2 years now and loves it. His teachers seem really concerned about him and always let me know when he's doing good and when he's having trouble. I am also very pleased with the principal she seems to really care about the children and their safety.

This school has been a 'heart-breaker' as a parent. Before coming to this school I was involved in my child's education. Now there is little communication with the teachers and parent unless something is wrong. Both of my children enjoy the outstanding music program but that is it. My children feel they are constantly degraded especialy my son. It really makes me cry when I see the disappointment in my children's eyes. My child states that she learns by watching videos in her reading class. My children feel intimidated my some of the teachers and often refers to them as mean. Communication with the teachers has been shockingly poor. I am currently seeking another school for my children a school where they can feel welcome.

Of my three children only one attended Ethel Kight. I was pleased with the instruction and the variety of activities he was exposed to while attending Ethel Kight. The teachers and staff all have as their priority making each child achieve all that they are capable of. The many computers and programs they contain was also a big plus. The science curriculum is also outstanding. Parent participation is great and I always feel welcome at this school. I also feel that my opinions and suggestions are met receptively.
