Lake City Elementary is a great school. The staff are wonderful and the principal radiates true caring and concern for his school and our community. I attended this school as a child and was happy to send my children there too.

My son is now the age of 15. He is actually a freshman in high school. Only three more years and i will watch my oldest and only son go away to college. And i am confident he will excell in everything he does in life. A big part of my confidence comes from knowing that he was fortunate enough to have 6(+) wonderful teachers at the elementary school he attended. They truly helped me arm him for the world. This is a small town and we have without a doubt one of the best k-5 schools anywhere. Always clean happy feeling with so many smiling faces. Hey who couldn't feel loved and welcome with all the great teachers there. Great place and people to trust our futures with. God bless lake city elementary and all who enter the walls of the school. And the town. Because the teaching doesnt stop when the bell rings. Really is a community which cares. All the time.

My daughter goes there and my little boy will start this year I think the school is great as well as the teachers. The parent involvement is great too.

I have had 6 children come through this school and I feel that this is the place that gave them the solid foundation they needed for thier current success. Five of them are college graduates and one is in her senior year of college at UT. Three of them graduated with honors from Yale and are now a doctor lawyer and Microsoft level 2 exc. So I would rate this school atleast a 5 star; please teachers keep up the great work. Mike Wilson

I know this is for parents but i was a student there and I didn't think that they spent enough time teaching us there. Most of the time they were sitting at their desks telling us to do a worksheet or something like that but never actually teaching us what it was we were supposed to do! I wish someone would do something about it! I know it seems cruel but I would have to rate this school with a 2 and that is out of sympathy mind you. Thank you- Amanda Pack
