My children go to Calvary Christian Academy and they love it as do I. They are in preschool and their teacher is amazing. This is my first experience sending them to a school as they have always been with family before preschool and I couldn't be happier. My children come home singing songs about jesus and God. They have learned so many new things since school has started. They are so happy to go to school they would rather go then stay home with me! I also love how reasonably priced and flexible the school is. They have daycare after school available which is great for us moms that work. I hope that we can keep them at CCA for a long long time. I can't say enough amazing things about this school.

When my child went the teachers and administration were legalistic overbearing and rude. Sending my daughter there was possibly one of the worst decisions I have ever made.

I would have to agree with one of the other parents. If the kids didn't like the school it's probably because there are rules there. The teachers care and they don't want the students to grow up to be disrespecful or rude. Also if the parents wanted to see things change then the should get more involved in their childs school!

As a parent I have seen this school work with other students. If a student did not like the school it was because they could not get away with what they wanted to do.

My 2 kids are receiving a great education at Calvary and more importantly growing in their faith every day.

My daughter has attended this school for two years and has received a great education.

My children attend Calvary in Lake Villa and I have nothing but great things to say about it. The pre-K program is fantastic and the staff is caring and family focused. The 1st-8th grade program is exceptional. My daughter is only in 1st grade and has known cursive and reading (chapter books) since kindergarten. CCA also offers onsite before/after school club a wonderful summer camp program and several family events throughout the school year. The cost is very reasonable and you will not regret it with the quality staff and education you receive. It was more affordable for my kindergartner to go to CCA full time than to go to the public school and pay for after school club. The principal is top notch and knows all of the families and really does a great job instilling good values and strong academic skills in the students. We love the teachers too!

My daughter goes to Calvary Christian School and it is an excellent school with small class sizes and a good curriculum.

My son has is in the Pre-K program. I think the teachers there are wonderful and they really care about teaching the children. I love the fact that thier curriculum is based on phonics early reading skills they really work with the children to have them reading even before they are in kindergarten. My daughter will start in their 3 year old class this fall. I will definitely keep them at CCS as long as possible.

I am a former student and I love CCS. I learned so much while attending CCS. The teachers do care about you and helped me become a better person. I am now studying to be a teacher and looking forward to investing in young lives just as the faculty and staff at CCS invested in mine.

My daughter has only been to CCS for 3 months and in the time span I have been nothing but pleased with her experience. As a new kindergartner the staff at CCS from the principal and teachers to the school secretary all have a caring and nurturing approach. The education she has already rec'd is at least two years ahead of the local public school and CCS if affordable and flexible particularly with working parents. They have a strong family connection and genuinely care about the moral and educational value your child receives. I am very pleased with CCS!

Very dissapointed with this school. My son recently attened their Kindergarten program. Teachers are great... Administration is very poor! A waste of my money and time!

My two sons went to school for the first time at Calvary after being homeschooled. Their teachers cared about how they adapted to the classroom setting and to their classmates. I feel good about my boys continuing their education at Calvary. I encourage anyone who wants their son or daughter to get a solid education that will be a great foundation for his or her future to come to Calvary. --A Proud Parent

We have been at CCS for four years. We truly found this school by luck and are very happy we did. We recommend parents that are concerned about the public schools to investigate CCS instead as a choice for their children. We are especially pleased with the students receiving individualized attention. CCS is a family oriented school. CCS has provided our children an outstanding place to learn. CCS has a great Music program along with Art and Spanish. We recommend CCS to anyone wanting a great education experience for their children.

We were so pleased by ccs that our daughter is now returning there after attending a different preschool program. The price is right and the teachers are wonderful! the principal really cares about the students and takes time to get to know the parents. Thank God for ccs!

As a former teacher I believe that children receive a solid education at CCS but more importantly they learn what it means to have good character. The class size remain at 15 but the school is growing in many ways! It by no means is perfect or as advanced as public schools who have more funding but parents and staff come together to create safe and highly academic environments. Students receive individualized attention in and out of the classroom. Parent/Family involvement is highly encouraged within classrooms and with the school as a whole. Overall a very safe caring environment for elementary education.

This school does not use the same curriculum as a public school they use Abeka one of the best curriculums available. They also teach things such as ettiquette/manners something the public schools should consider. They have gym time which is supervised by the teachers. They play dodgeball and other organized games. They have a library take field trips etc. The difference is the teachers and principal genuinely care for these kids. They offer smaller classes which is a benefit anyway you look at. They also offer a before/after school club which is wonderful. I have peace of mind and that is worth the price tag for this school. THANK YOU CCS!
