With a small town atmosphere this school offers considerably more attention per child in an a safer environment less exposed to drugs and crime. Everyone knows your name/family and community involvement is refreshingly astounding.

Naturally a little off the beaten track of your typical high school due to its small size Deer Creek-Lamont is a great place to attend. Because of its size it makes for a close community where everyone knows the other in most cases since kindergarten. And this makes for a very friendly enviroment. Band Choir Football Track Basketball Fastpitch and track are all available and help the student to become even closer to his piers and the community a community that is extremely supportive in everything the school does. Great teachers know their students and take time to assure their success. All in all a great experience.
